"Take me a ride"
said the ant to the bee..
"take me up high
in the sky so i'll see"
"climb up on my back
said the bee with a frown..
"the last time i took you
you begged to come down.."
"this time i will do it"
said the ant to the bee
"I'm ready to fly
don't ya worry about me"
So on climbed the ant
as they flew in the air..
and the ant got a bee's
eye view from up there..
But the bee had to get
back to working again..
as he landed the Ant
said "i'm thankful i am"
"i'll be there for you when
you need me dear friend.
I'll re-pay you this ride
when i come back again.."
The bee felt so cool,
as he buzzed all around.
and he told the story
to every bug that he found..
Soon a Butterfly came
& seemed all confused..
so the bugs said "please tell us
what has you so amused.."
"You silly old bugs"
said the bold butterfly
I've had 200 aunts
on one 2 hour fly..
they always thank me
for their time in the sky
it's payment to bury
My wings when I die..

it isn't in the tress but please

she's springing up from below
Autumn is her given name
She's hot then cold
( that girl is bold)
it's like she plays a sexy game..
i was looking out the windows of
a tiny church so old..
and thought about, it's time no doubt
for Autumn to unfold..
I can see her there
( i hear her there)
she's not one to whisk right in..
she'll slowly come
(she's just begun)
try to catch her while you can...

It was early September
a warm sunny day..
my five year old grandson
was busy at play..
when the back door burst open
and he came running in..
Saying "Grandma, oh, Grandma
the butterflies back again..."
Armed with my camera
and him with one too..
we both went chasing
butterlies ( there was 2)..
we laughed as we ran
all over the place...
Sticking our cameras
in their butterfly face...
with a smile on his lips
he sat on the ground..
said " Grandma I love
watching them dance around"...
I sat there a long time
as he danced with them too...
then he reached up & caught it
said "he's my gift to you"...
with his tiny hand reaching
to hand it to me..
i told him i'd rather
he set my present free.
He opened his fingers
& it seemed like a race....
as he and that butterfly
danced all over the place..

this picture has 4 generations in the image....my son bought me the rose bush for Mothers day...the yellow cup was the one Grandma drank her coffee in every morning..and my mom told us when she was dying 3 years ago now, to look for white feathers...when hubby brought me in the rose last night in grandmas cup..i had to try for a shot..problem is my good camera has a broken flash so i got it under a light...LOL....should of just used the old camera ....i used hubbys old high school yearbook from '69 for the backdrop....I'm in the book but i'm 2 grades behind him..
