For her birthday this Feb....My Son in law Scott, took my daughter Terri to old man's cave,to Photograph the ICE.....And this was a week ago..( before Ohios ice storm hit) ..I'm dedicating this post to introducing you all to her and Her Photography....(her blog is "terris blog" under sites i like). Although her Main Profession in the Real World is Writing Books ...Her hobby of Photography goes back to her Early childhood,and My early adulthood , when I first discovered it, with her at my side...We took pictures every day, and we thought it was so cool when the drug store said we'd get 2 pic's of every picture..No more fighting over who's scrap book it went in. Of course she was my main thing to photograh back then, and still is to this day....it was nothing for us to develop 3 rolls of film at once..and Grandma would always yell at ME, if there wasn't people in them and tell me I was wasting money.I hid a lot of pic's from Grandma back then..I sinserely think, if we had a computor and cameras like we have today..things would be different.
As you all know, I tend to over do everything I do, and I like to think my journey in life inspired someone..Like My Daughter, i know no one i'm prouder of, or admire more...

old man's cave is not new to Blogstream..When I first came to Blogstream, I found "Wayf" of "Stream of consciousness,"( listed near the top of blogs i like..) he had posted some really neet pic's from there... .I've never been there in winter myself..I fell at work Thursday,I think i'll let the young ones do the shots this time.

to show you how large the ice is in the 1st picture...notice the 2 people standing below it..and how small they look...

My camera couldn't capture the amount of ice that the ice storm left behind....it was A Beautiful 189 mile ride.......It almost seemed like Mother Nature had come and decorated the world in white christmas lights...I never experienced anything like it...It was like waking up inside a christmas card.... The roads was soooooo bad...

Well, Hubby took off yesterday because of bad weather and i guess,OSHA SAYS, the water MUST be tested...so he went today...we drove through our little town, ice on the trees ..half the town had no electric...last night a bad ice storm hit. we drove through 2 countys that was level 2...one was level 3 .there was only a car or two here and there for miles.....it didn't take me long to wish i hadn't rode along...the roads was bad..the sun wanted to come out, after 4 countys it was better...but not great.It was a Beautiful ride though, especially when the sun hit the ice on the tress...it made then turn pink and blue and yellow..it was different.I couldn't seem to pick up on the ice.

This is my new...favorite house..it's in Pomroy Ohio...alongthe Ohio River...

Roads are shut down here..already a level 2 for roads - expected to get worse...it snowed heavy since before daylight changing to ice around 10....Most of Ohio is taking a snow day today.....I've got several new shots from Yesterdays ride on the back roads...I found a few nice window shots for Lucy.....hang on.

When it's below zero....and the high is 8 above for the day....it makes me think " man, i want spring to come, i got my winter shots"....I especially loved the sky today...
