glad your daughter enjoyed the pictures..I've been hanging low here lately..messed my jaw up last spring ..and it's still bothering me.
i'll be getting new pictures soon. Jack Frost came for his first visit here last night...winters soon to follow.

This is NOT a JOKE, although it still feels like one to me.
I can't believe that Walmart or any other company can sell us a food service product with lead in it
simply by putting a warning label on the cord that says WASH YOUR HANDS!!!
PLEASE CHECK YOUR OWN HOMES.
Check your children's toys and rooms first.
Check your kitchens and bathrooms next.
You don't really know me but you can take it to the bank that I want you and your children to BE SAFE.
What are the health effects of lead poisoning?
The National Safety Council says:
There are many different health effects associated with elevated blood lead levels. Young children under the age of six are especially vulnerable to lead's harmful health effects, because their brains and central nervous system are still being formed.
For them, even very low levels of exposure can result in:
reduced IQ
learning disabilities
attention deficit disorders
behavioral problems
stunted growth
impaired hearing
kidney damage
At high levels of exposure, a child may become:
mentally retarded
fall into a coma
and even die
Within the last ten years, children have died from lead poisoning in New Hampshire and in Alabama. Lead poisoning has also been associated with juvenile delinquency and criminal behavior.
In adults, lead can:
increase blood pressure
cause fertility problems
nerve disorders
muscle and joint pain
irritability
memory or concentration problems
It takes a significantly greater level of exposure to lead for adults than it does for kids to sustain adverse health effects.

Connie, it's great to hear from you and I'm sorry about this patch of slow times for you and yours. We both like to post photos and it really can get expensive on the BlogStream. i posted some new pics in a new blog.."The Back road drifter"....untill i get money transfered to my pay pal account to do the 500 pics..
i have over 7,000 pics on flickr now. and a word press blog..word pressis cool, works on tags. had over 98,000 hits on my flickr site total..23,00o direct from flickr the rest from links i sent out..
the word press blog is doing good too..has over 3,000 hits in a few months.
